Wealthy Foreigners Will Be Able To Obtain Indefinite Leave To Remain In 3 Years Instead Of 5 Years

Total views: 2105 Damian Green, the immigration minister has confirmed foreign nationals who benefit the UK economy will be incentivised, by allowing them to obtain indefinite leave to remain in 3 years instead of 5 years.
 
This accelerated route is only applicable to Entrepreneurs and Investors. The principle criteria that needs to meet is:
Entrepreneurs

• Would be to create the equivalent of 10 full time jobs; OR 
• At least £5 million in income from business activity within a 3 year period.

Investors

• To apply for the accelerated settlement Investors would need to have invested a sum of £10 million or more for two years; OR
• A sum of 5 million for more for three years.
