The UAE Market

2011 has almost seen a return to a market in the Middle East which we were all enjoying prior to the Global Financial Crisis.  Steadily throughout 2011 the market has got progressively better and we are now seeing a number of roles coming through at all levels.  The aftermath of the financial crisis continues to generate contentious work for firms, particularly in the construction and real estate fields, and has resulted in a number of high-profile restructurings. Although a number of law firms pared down their presence on the ground, the Middle East also saw an influx of new entrants over the past couple of years.

There is definitely more confidence in the market now and clients are once again seeking excellent candidates from outside of the Middle East who are looking for sponsorship in the region.
