To come to the United Kingdom for medical treatment, the migrant must be able to show that:

• They meet the requirements for leave to enter as a visitor;
• If suffering from a communicable disease there is no danger to public health;
• Their course of treatment is for a limited period of time;
• They have made satisfactory arrangements for the consultation or treatment y they need;
• They have enough money to pay for any treatment and to support and accommodate themselves  without working or help from public funds; and
• They plan to leave the United Kingdom at the end of their treatment.

If an individual meets the criteria above but the documentation they provide does not reflect the same then the medical visit visa application will have a high chance of being refused.
