The following information is given in order to provide you with a generalised overview of the criteria required to enter the UK for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games. However if you which for us to assess whether you qualify under this category, or you wish to engage our services and/or require further information regarding this particular visa, please complete the ‘Contact Box’ on this page to enable a member of our team to contact you and advise you further.

The London Olympic and Paralympic visit visa has been specifically designed for athletes, coaches, officials and accredited media for the 2012 Games (also known as 'Games family members').

If an individual has been identified by the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) as a potential Games family member, the individual can apply for the visa to enter the UK and take part in a specific activity connected to the Olympic or Paralympic Games. These activities include meetings with LOCOG, training camps and test events.

The individual must have an official letter from LOCOG inviting them to visit the UK for a purpose connected to the Games.

Family members of the individual do not apply for the Olympic/Paralympic Games visit visa instead they would need to apply as visitors in their own right.
