Lovells appoints European chief
- Christoph Kueppers has been appointed as Lovells' regional managing partner for Continental Europe, it has been announced.
The Dusseldorf partner has taken up his post with immediate effect and will remain in office for three years.
Insurance specialist Mr Kueppers joined the firm in 2001 from professional services firm KPMG.
He will assume overall responsibility for 14 offices ranging from Madrid to Moscow which together account for 40 per cent of the firm's turnover.
Lovells managing partner David Harris said he was very pleased Mr Kueppers was joining the management team.
He added: "He will bring a fresh approach to the region and a client-focused, business-driving, emphasis."
Mr Kueppers said the firm had made "significant investments" across the region over the last four years, in order to ensure the firm is capable of delivering the high quality service expected by clients.
Lovells employs professionals in legal jobs across 26 offices in Europe, Asia and the United States.
