Frankie's chain, is run by the well renowned jockey Frankie Dettori and the acclaimed chef, Marco Pierre White.

Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of working illegally at two of the restaurants which are part-owned by jockey Frankie Dettori.

UK immigration officers from the UK Border Agency raided the Knightsbridge branch of Frankie's on 25 November 2010 and the branch in Chiswick on 3 December 2010.

The UK Border Agency had raided the restaurants after receiving a tip off from an anonymous source.

If it is proven that the seven men did not have valid leave to remain in the UK they face removal/deportation from the UK. The monetary effect of this on the employer, if it is found the employer did not carry out the correct legal checks are that they will face a £10,000 fine per illegal worker as well as the reputation of the restaurant being severely tarnished.
