Employee Of Newspaper, News Agency/Broadcasting Organisation
In order for the individual to enter the UK under this category the following UK immigration rules must be met:
1. Have been recruited and employed outside the UK by a company whose headquarters and principal place of business is outside the UK; and,
2. Is seeking entry to the United Kingdom:
a. as an employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organisation being posted on a long-term assignment as a representative of their overseas employer; and,
3. The individual intends to work full-time as a representative of their overseas employer; and,
4. Does not intend to take employment except within the terms of this paragraph; and,
5. Has competence in the English language to the required standard; and,
6. Can maintain and accommodate himself and any dependants adequately without recourse to public funds; and,
7. Holds a valid United Kingdom entry clearance for entry in this capacity.
If entry to the UK is granted under this category then the individual will be admitted initially for a maximum period of 3 years.
