Beverley has three years’ experience as a recruitment consultant and joined the secretarial team at GR Law in January 2011 to manage the temporary and contract division. She has built up a successful and loyal bank of temporary legal secretaries and has been a huge hit with our clients!

After graduating with a BSc in Psychology Beverley has had an interesting background as an Applied Behavioural Therapist, Teacher, Sales Manager and Recruiter. Beverley is not your typical sales person but has been extremely successful in her career because she really does care about helping candidates and clients to make the right choices. Her professional approach, dedication and commitment to her role as a consultant coupled with her bubbly personality make her a real asset to our team.

HUSNARA BEGUM

Husnara has over a decade of experience in the legal sector. After graduating with a law degree from the University of Warwick she secured a training contract with Linklaters. Husnara qualified into the magic circle firm’s corporate department where she remained for three years before leaving to join The Lawyer as a legal journalist. During her career at the leading weekly magazine Husnara spent two years as City editor writing about M&A and finance transactions. She was then promoted to editor of the Lawyer’s student title Lawyer 2B and spearheaded the launch of Lawyer2B.com.

Husnara specialises in placing associates and partners into commercial law firms both in London and overseas with a particular focus on banking and finance, corporate and litigation. Thanks to her journalism background Husnara has an enviable network of contacts comprising partners, associates and HR professionals at many of the City’s leading law firms.

Husnara prides herself on her ability to deliver an excellent service to both clients and candidates alike.

JOHN BRUCE

John specialises in HR recruitment for law firms and professional services across London and the South East. Recruiting at all levels from HR Administrators to HR Directors, Diversity specialists and everything in between.

John joined GR Law in February 2006, but has over 15 years experience within the recruitment industry as consultant, trainer and manager. During this time John has recruited for all levels of support staff from legal secretaries to director level and in all specialisms including HR, legal finance and general support.

Having started as a consultant in a small specialist agency John has worked in a variety of roles including setting up the legal secretarial division of an international consultancy and successfully ran a skills/competencies training function for two years. John's clients have ranged from niche law firms to the Magic Circle as well as corporates across London and the South East.

ROB BULL

Rob started working in legal recruitment in 1997, specialising in legal secretarial and support staff and dealing with some of the UK's top law firms.

His pro-active and enthusiastic approach has proved a great success with both clients and candidates, and has led to him building a list of long-standing and extremely loyal clientele.

Rob has brought a huge amount of experience to our secretarial team and continues to strengthen our position as a market leader in this field.

CARLY CHALLINGER

Carly joined GR Law to work with Neil in our marketing and finance division.

Carly is a graduate with considerable sales and marketing experience and was required to focus on the detail of her clients’ requirements and establish relationships.

Moving into recruitment from a sales and marketing background provides a good platform to advise both clients and candidates on their recruitment needs.

GAVIN CROCKER

Gavin is the managing director of GR Law and has worked in legal recruitment since 1989. He has a unique background having begun his career in fee earning before moving to support recruitment (and then back to fee earning) giving him experience in all areas of a law firm's business. He has brokered law firm mergers, recruited partners and teams, associates, paralegals and legal secretaries. Although he is based in London he has also recruited in the Middle East and Far East. Gavin has lived and worked in Australia and helped establish the Sydney office in 2001. One of the most experienced recruiters in the legal industry Gavin can advise candidates at all levels and provide guidance on relocating and working in different countries and their legal markets.

Peter specialises in HR recruitment for law firms and professional services across London and the South East. Peter is a recruitment and coaching expert within the professional services sector, offering some 20+ years’ experience of talent acquisition, retention and coaching services. Specialist areas are: HR, Diversity & Equality and recruitment training. Having joined GR Law in January 2001, Peter was made a Director of the business in 2004 and joined the LLP as a partner in 2010. Between 2009 and 2011 Peter helped train some 7,000 professionals on recruitment skills as part of a London campaign to share our knowledge. NEIL HAGAN

Neil joined GR Law in May 2007 to expand our Marketing and Finance Division. Having previously worked within the business support teams at some of the City’s top law firms, Neil has gained a deep understanding of how different teams operate as well as in depth technical knowledge.

Neil moved into recruitment from business services, seeing it as an opportunity to use his expertise and natural energy to offer a first class recruitment service to candidates and clients. Since launching this division Neil has placed candidates as far as Moscow, The Middle East and CEE regions.

Neil’s team recruits for: Marketing Assistant to Director level roles across all areas of legal marketing and business development including more skilled areas such as key account management, PR, bids specialists, CRM data stewards, and social media specialists.

MANDEEP KHROUD

Mandeep has 7 years of UK immigration law experience and has achieved innumerable positive outcomes for her diverse range of clients. She is dedicated in advising both employers and employees on all aspects of UK immigration law. Furthermore Mandeep has extensive knowledge and experience of the Points Based System and regularly advises on EEA applications, spouse/civil partners, unmarried/same-sex partners, fiancé, ancestry, visitors, long residence, dependents, further leave to remain, settlement, naturalisation and registration as a British Citizen.

Mandeep qualified as a solicitor in 2005. After completing her training contract in a small London firm she moved to a specialist immigration practice in 2006 to gain more specific immigration experience and then moved to another highly respected immigration law firm until she joined GR Law in August 2010.

ANNABELLA QUINTAL

Annabella joined GR Law in September 2004 as a consultant within the permanent division.   Having graduated in 1998 with a BA Hons in Business specialising in Human Resources, Annabella has 5 years generalist HR experience within both US and UK law firms, and is CIPD qualified.

As an HR Manager, Annabella has extensive experience in recruiting staff at all levels.  She is able to offer a professional, reliable and accurate service to Legal Secretaries and HR professionals.

Annabella was promoted to manager at GR Law in October 2006
